Embark STO and global business: NGK yacht party in Samoa ended successfully
Samoa, United States, October 24, 2020: The NGK Global STO Yacht Party in Samoa jointly organized by NGK and the USA International Covenant INC (i.e. UICI Group) was successfully held.
This yacht party with the theme of “Embark STO and global business” was mainly held to celebrate NGK in obtaining the US STO and MSB licenses. This event was attended by the Vice President of UICI group, DENIEL SOIBIM; the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of UICI Group, Bill Ray; the General Manager of UICI Group, Hannah White; and the Chief Risk Control Officer (CRO) of UICI Group, Kyle Tedford. Besides, the Chairman of US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Jay Clayton, members of the Spirit Stone team, and the partners of NGK were also invited.
The speech given by Bill Ray
The Chief Operating Officer of UICI Group, Bill Ray, gave a speech during the conference. He believes that blockchain will play a vital role in promoting the global businesses. Blockchain is inherently a global network. It has the characteristics of immutability, which can increase the trust between the institutions and enterprises in different countries and reduce the trust issues. Therefore, it can promote the relationship between different countries and enterprises, so that they can achieve a win-win situation together.
Nowadays, the blockchain industry is getting more fiercely competitive, and the physical industry has always been an industry where the “fittest” survives and it has extremely high threshold. The emergence of NGK Global project has integrated these two industries perfectly. It issues the physical assets through STO, serves the physical industry with blockchain technology, and enriches the blockchain applications with the content of the physical world. This integration is unique, and it provides new vitality into the blockchain as well as the fashion industry.
The speech given by Hannah White
Hannah White, general manager of UICI Group, also delivered a meaningful speech at the conference. She stated that NGK blockchain has the characteristics of decentralization and information transparency. Therefore, it has significant advantages in the real economy and traditional industries. It can solve the problems of information asymmetry, audit deficiency, and poor information delivery in the traditional enterprises. Furthermore, it can improve the audit efficiency, and enhance the communication and cooperation between enterprises.

The NGK Global STO Yacht Conference was successfully held. During the conference, everyone expressed their opinions and discussed the new market for the future development of blockchain. In addition to the speeches given by the two leaders of UICI Group, the members of NGK Spirit Stone team and the representatives from NGK’s physical industry partners also delivered their speeches.
