Throughput refers to the number of requests the system processes in unit time. throughput has always been one of the important indicators to measure the performance of blockchain projects, representing the average number of transactions per second that the system can handle TPS. business For an underlying commercial blockchain, the biggest reason for the speed of trading is the consensus mechanism, which is also the core part of blockchain technology, so how do NGK improve the speed of trading?

NGK improve throughput

NGK blockchain is a decentralized commercial basic blockchain designed to carry the operation of large-scale commercial Dapp through ultra-high performance. NGK blockchain uses DPOSS consensus algorithm, graphene and other technologies to develop an innovative blockchain solution with the goal of integrating these technologies to alleviate the bottleneck of blockchain development related to performance and scalability in the current industry and to provide practical solutions for large-scale commercial applications.

NGK uses a BFT-DPoSS consensus algorithm, which is undoubtedly NGK to achieve the most core technical breakthrough to support millions of commercial platforms. BFT protocol is called Byzantine fault-tolerant protocol. The simple expression of the protocol is: first, a node is selected by rotation or random algorithm in a limited number of nodes. When the main node packages the transaction into a block, it signs the block with its own private key and broadcasts it to all nodes. Other nodes verify and confirm the block. If a node confirms the block, the block is signed and sent to the master node. When the main node receives at least 2/3 signature blocks of different nodes, the block completes the verification of all nodes into irreversible blocks in series into the blockchain.

NGK improve throughput

DPOSS algorithm is a fast, safe and low energy consumption consensus mechanism. The DPOSS consensus algorithm is to elect 21 block producers by the holder of the NGK, and the 21 block producers take turns out blocks in a predetermined order, generate new blocks at intervals of 500 milliseconds, and then switch to the next block producer to generate blocks. This method can guarantee a block producer to generate blocks at 500 milliseconds interval.

Moreover, NGK employs graphene technology, which is characterized by fast transfer speed, high throughput, strong stability and so on. At the same time, using the parallel operation mechanism of “main chain + sub-chain”, in which the main chain and sub-chain services are separated, so as to reduce the burden of the main chain, and is likely to reach millions of TPS in the future.
